WINTER BLACK TRUFFLE MELANOSPORUM - Karlić Tartufi

WINTER BLACK TRUFFLE MELANOSPORUM

45.001,200.00

The most expensive black truffle is also known as French Périgord Truffle. It has a  different taste and smell than other truffles. Melanoporum is specific because it has a rough peridium (Scorza) of opaque black color and a pulp with white veins. The harvest period is from December to March. The full season begins in December so the taste and smell now are not so intense.

Mostly grows in hilly and mountainous areas in symbiosis with hazel, oak and English oak. Perfect in combination with risotto, pasta and high-quality raw meat.
